INFO:
In this interactive lesson, students examine three themes that were integral to the 1920s: technology and the economy, immigration and migration, and civil rights and civil liberties. They will learn about several notable events from the 1920s, including the rise of consumer culture, the Great Migration, and Prohibition. They will watch several video clips, analyze primary sources, and write an analytical essay asking them to consider whether the 1920s should be known as the “Roaring ’20s.”
